Stress and anxiety is a natural response which helps us cope in a short term emergency, however, problems occur when your stress response is going off all the time. The results of excessive stress can lead to migraines, skin complaints, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic pain and other anxiety disorders. The stress response can have a profound effect on everyday life and so this is where i can help you gain back control.

There are many different ways people experience anxiety such as general anxiety disorder, panic attacks, social anxiety and specific fears or phobias. Anxiety levels can go from worry to a feeling of panic. You may have been told that you were born anxious or that you get it from your mother, father or your aunt, but you haven't. Your anxiety has been learned over time to help you cope or avoid things. And because it has been learned, it can be unlearned. All you need is a commitment to make changes to the way you usually do react. 

 

After your first session with me you will feel relaxed, have tools to help you cope with anxiety and you will feel more confident and hopeful about your future. You will be able to think more clearly, sleep better and enjoy better health and improve your relationships with others too. 

 

I offer an exploratory Break Free anxiety session where you will spend 2 hours with me learning tools to help you feel calmer around a specific situation or trigger. This could be anything from public speaking, interview nerves, a social situation, being visible on social media, exam nerves or anxiety around IBS. The cost of a Break Free anxiety session is £90.
